Is tRPC a good choice for typesafe communication between two backends?

AA bunch of ppl are using trpc for server to server comms, including people who use graphql but do microservices underneath
AI don't know why Theo doesn't like it for server to server, maybe just that he dislikes the idea of microservices so much in general (I do too)
AThe diff in speed likely doesn't matter tbh
AI find it unlikely that the transport mode (binary vs json) is the perf bottleneck in many scenarios
