SIn fact the example repositories from tRPC's author import prisma directly.
IAFAIK prisma in the context is mainly for dependency injection. I think it’s probably a good idea to keep it in there a lot of the time because it gives you greater control over what your code is doing for testing and such, but performance isn’t a factor here I don’t think
